What is Nepal Art For Education?
In a developing country like Nepal, opportunities for adolescents and children are scarce. Children from the ‘lower classes’ of the population find themselves always behind the rest due to their background, and can seldom rise out of their situation of poverty. Without a diploma from higher or technical education, they find it extremely challenging to acquire a good job, to develop themselves, and to build a dignified and independent life.

To give them a chance for a better future, we have to start with good education! We can then subsequently work on their self-image, better health, plans for the future.

Who are we?

We are the NGO Art for Education Nepal. The Board of Directors consists in part the eldest children, formerly and currently, in our programme. As such we are certain that everyone cooperates with the right motivation for a better future for the children.

The team members as an employee consist of 5 representatives from Nepal. We all have our own responsibilities and tasks. First of all we assure our main priority is for the children’s education with individual basis and work on self-esteem for how to make them an independent happy adult. 5 team members are divided in to their own task.

We guide and counsel the children from two groups:

• Lower Level education

This is the group of children who follow the school up to grade 10. Anu, Krishna and Anju follow this group of children and assure good counseling, guiding and follow up in school and home. Paying the bills of the children in time and keeping individual expense record of each children.

• Higher level Education

This is the group of children after SLC. Kundan is following this group of children. Guiding them in to better path for their good career. Creating first step by finding the good institution that offers training and job placement according to the interest and ability of the children. Finding the +2 college who can work within our budget.
After Earthquake there was a need of health program also so, Manoj is following the victims who are affected by earthquake for short term. He follows all our kids from Nepal Art for Education when they become sick.

What do we do ?

We guide children and ensure that they are not left to find their own way to adulthood. We provide the necessary financial help to pay for their studies.
Depending on the background of the child, we can also decide to support them in terms of healthcare, housing and general costs.

For who ?

We prioritise help to children, teenagers and adolescents in vulnerable circumstances within the society.
We support three big groups of children:
1) The children from prison
2) The children from the dumping site whoe parents are working there
3) The children rescued from the other organizations due ro less care and abused
